The Landing At Jones Beach - Wantagh

Location is hard to beat, great view. Indoor option available, we have a look around and it looked nice but empty. That was at 3:00. Outside has beautiful seating and a view of the West Bath if you want. We had a dozen blue dots of oysters and 2 local ales. The cocktail was delicious, fresh for our order. The service was something on the slow side, but once they noticed us they were on the point. The menu had offers that we really wanted to try, there are detailed descriptions of all dishes and they sounded mouthwater. My wife and I will come back here. While you're here, say hello to Charlie the Barkeeper, best Mets fan I've ever met!

Newly renamed Gatsby, the restaurant has a great view of the ocean and the decor is the original art deco style. As of today, May 31st, there's a limited menu that looks great and is going to expand in about 2 weeks (as I was told). There's a bar inside where you can eat as well. There will be a covered bar outside too on the west side of the restaurant. There is live music from 6:30 to 9:30 on most or all fridays and Saturdays. I didn't eat there yet since we were just out for a walk but it's on the list of places to go to very soon.

I wish I took a photo of their Edamame! It was spicy and delicious. Try their Mediterranean plate, perfect for picking. Everyone is friendly and hospitable here. Our server, she had black frame glasses, was so sweet. Thanks again for a refreshing visit guys! <3

The Landing at Jones Beach is finally a great spot to take a break from strolling on the beach and enjoy the surfing views. With both indoor and outdoor seating, it's a pleasant place to relax. While the service can be a bit slow, the staff is genuinely friendly and welcoming. I had a delightful dining experience here, and the prices are reasonable for the quality of the food and service provided. Our server, Bianca, was exceptional—super nice and always willing to assist with questions or recommendations. Jones Beach has a reputation for overpriced, low-quality food, and I’ve never really enjoyed eating there, preferring just a drink or ice cream instead. Now, I can enjoy a nice walk in the fresh air and then stop for a high-quality meal at a fair price. I highly recommend this place!

The view is fantastic, and the outdoor area is well-maintained. You've done a wonderful job creating a pleasant atmosphere. I visited on opening day, but the menu was limited, with only a few options available. Hopefully, that will improve over time. I didn't eat there myself, just stopped by to look around. However, I can tell that this is a lovely spot for enjoying a meal with friends while taking in the beautiful landscape.
