The Nook Restaurant Bar - Wantagh

The food is delicious, the cocktails are fantastic, and the atmosphere has a wonderful old-school nostalgia. The owner, Tom, is incredibly creative and makes an effort to engage with everyone, ensuring that each guest enjoys their meal and overall experience. I highly recommend this place!

I can only describe "The Nook" as one of Wantagh's best-kept secrets. It's a hidden gem located right at the entrance of the Wantagh Parkway. We visited The Nook with our family and left completely satisfied. The ambiance exudes old-world charm, making it the perfect spot for a peaceful dining experience. The restaurant was impeccably clean, and the staff was exceptional, always attentive to our needs. They went out of their way to accommodate every request. The food was outstanding, with generous portion sizes that exceeded our expectations. The owner, Tom, was incredibly welcoming and gracious. We've returned a few times, and the atmosphere and service have remained consistently excellent. It's refreshing to see a family restaurant maintaining such high standards while offering a lovely menu. Dining here feels like a family gathering, and the environment is very inviting. We'll definitely be coming back. Oh, and you have to try the bread they bring to your table as soon as you sit down—it's fresh, warm, and absolutely delicious!

Excellent food with wonderful flavors! The dishes were very well prepared! The service was outstanding, and the prices were quite reasonable!

Good service and food ensemble with a hidden rustic case. the French onion soup, Steak au poivre, and Amaretto truffle ice are a must try!
