Cynful Smokers Bbq - Wapello

This small-town BBQ spot serves some really tasty food. I do wish the side portions were a bit bigger, but the flavors are excellent. Just keep in mind that the staff can get quite busy, so a little patience goes a long way.

My neighbors threw a barn party, and it was fantastic! Cynful Smokers catered the event with pulled pork, beans, and brisket, and everything was incredible. The party was a lot of fun as well. Since then, I've followed them to several events, including the BBQ Blues Fest in North Liberty. Keep up the great work and living the dream!

During the North Liberty BBQ and Blues festival, I ordered brisket and beans along with a half rack of ribs. However, I received pulled pork instead of brisket and was accidentally overcharged by $2 for the mistake. I didn't notice the error until I returned to my seat, and by then it felt too late to address it. To make matters worse, the pulled pork was completely unremarkable. I doused my sandwich in fiery sauce, yet I could barely taste it. The biggest issue was that the bottom bun was entirely soggy, making it impossible to eat as a closed sandwich. So, I ended up eating the sandwich I didn't want with a spoon. The beans were acceptable, and my kids thought the ribs were good, but they don't earn extra credit for simply getting something right.
