Bidra med feedbackFirst time here and definitely will not be the last! This place is like striking food GOLD!!!! The food is delicious, the juices are fresh, location is great and the staff is so nice. What else can you ask for? Definitely will be going back to keep tryingother items in their menu!
The Green Bowl blew me out of the water with their food and attention to detail! I had a bit over a week to food for an office party for 30 people. Due to the office COVID policy all 30 meals had to be individually packaged. I reached out to The GreenBowl on a coworker?s suggestion. He said that not only was the food delicious, but it was also gluten free, with vegetarian andvegan options-perfect for feeding a crowd with a variety of dietary requirements. The owner got back to me very quickly and wasextremely generous with the menu options they could provide on our budget. Yami promised that she could do individual packagingand she totally delivered! I expected having to sort out 30 clamshell boxes. Instead, we received 30 individual bags eachlabeled with the content and stuffed with a menu. The best part? All the packaging is recyclable/biodegradable! Now for thefood: For most people this was their first time having an arepa. We ordered pork, chicken or vegetarian arepas and rice bowls.Everyone that had an arepa said they were crispy, juicy, and packed with filling. The rice bowls were a very generous portionand every component had great flavor. The sauces (creamy avocado, chipotle mayo and mojito) were all delicious. I can?t waituntil I?m down in Wappinger Falls to have an arepa!
A charming and beautifully decorated restaurant, this place offers an impressive variety on its menu, and the food is expertly prepared. The Asian ginger salad I tried was wonderfully complex! My only criticism is that while the rice bowl is excellent—with perfectly cooked rice and black beans—even a basic one with a small portion of your chosen protein can quickly reach around $15. Opting for one with a broader selection of toppings can easily exceed $20 in no time. Fortunately, a single bowl is suitable for sharing between two people with a moderate appetite.
If you're in the Hudson Valley area, this place is a must-visit. This Dominican and Venezuelan restaurant, inspired by healthy eating, offers generous portions at reasonable prices. Be sure to try their fresh acai bowls, any of their arepas, or their patacón sandwiches, which are a Caribbean favorite. Their fried yuca is fantastic as well. We're definitely recommending it to all our friends!
I really enjoyed the atmosphere at Green Bowl Cafe. It's a great place to relax for hours, whether you're working, playing board games, or just enjoying tasty food and drinks. They have a wide variety of options, including salads, sandwiches, smoothies, juices, açaí bowls, and breakfast wraps, along with some South American flavors. We ordered Venezuelan sandwiches that used plantains instead of bread. They were delicious and quite filling—my husband and I shared one. We also tried the sunshine juice and an energy shot, and everything was fantastic. Plus, they use compostable containers, which is a nice touch!
