Janines Frostie is always well worth the drive even at over an hour away. Great food and ice cream coupled with friendly staff and frequent live music makes this a great destination foodie stop for a day road trip. Be it after a hike through Quabbin, after a paddle on the Swift, a Sunday drive or a motorcycle ride or just a trip out for ice cream with the kids, Janines will offer a great piece to round out your day. Food items vary from the normal hamburgers and hot dogs to the non traditional pot roast poutine, corn dogs, sassy sow dog, in addition to a decent select of seafood items.
