He was nice an charming talked to us the whole time he made our food. Was nice to us even when we added more food when he was almost finished with the big order we asked for in the beginning. The food smelt great before we got there. We pretty much followed the food smell to his establishment. I ate my food so fast I’m definitely going to have to go back in get more to properly taste it. But what I tasted while I inhaled the food was delicious. My picky nine year old had no complaints, even though she’s always the first to complain. She cleaned her plate an proceed to help me eat my chicken in fries an fish sandwich. Definitely will be back to this secret hidden Indiana gem.

Had the pork chop sandwich it was sooo good. seasoned great crispy. 10 out of 10, definitely recommend.

Food: Very GoodCook: CleanI had the meatloaf, double collards, and yams. The meatloaf was evenly seasoned. The texture was savory. The tomato jammy jam was very good. The Collards were tender. I like mine peppery but it was balanced and no stems. The yams were good but mushy. The cook was kool.

The chicken is what my dreams are now made of. So crispy and juicy. So delicious. The mac and cheese was also very tasty. I also got the deviled eggs and they were good as well.The greens had this off flavor to them, green beans were from a can and a bit cold, and the potato salad was really runny.All in all I will absolutely be back. I give them a 5 just because of how good that damn chicken was. HIGHLY SUGGEST this place if you want to taste fried chicken on it's best day.
