The Bistro On The Hill - Warrenton

I appreciate that the bistro hosts senior nights on Tuesdays and Thursdays at a special rate, but I have to mention that the food is often served at room temperature, which is quite disappointing. Additionally, the mashed potatoes frequently run out because there simply isn't enough made to serve everyone. Instead of preparing an extra side dish, it would be much more efficient to ensure that there are sufficient mashed potatoes or whichever side is on the menu. It's easier to make enough of one dish than to juggle several others, especially when it's predictable that you'll run out. Moreover, the macaroni and cheese is one of the least appealing side dishes; it lacks both cheese and flavor. Despite these issues, which could be addressed easily, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is pleasant. Great job overall, everyone!

This restaurant used to be excellent, but it has declined at an alarming rate, and now it barely deserves two stars.
