Bidra med feedbackGood Coffee shop in the old Murky Coffee spot near Eastern Market. They sue Counter Culture coffee. They have good chocolate and baked goods as well. It's on the small side and the restroom is in the adjoining building (and you need a code).

Great little coffee shop! No indoor seating, so factor that in, and a small selection but great brews. Very sweet people and cute place to lounge.
For coffee purists, this is the place to go. With a simple menu, you can't go wrong with the classics. It's one of the only places that specializes in espresso and likes to keep the frothy, sugary drinks far away. I went in to find the place quite packed, which was a great sign. This location is very small and simple, giving the coffee the attention. The menu was reasonable and the baristas were very friendly. I had a macchiato, which was perfectly brewed. The beans weren't bitter at all. I was reminded that this is what coffee is supposed to taste like. I am now convinced that this is my new coffee place.
