Island Cafe And Bread Company

Our family of 4 visited Washington Island this past weekend. The food we had was nothing short of amazing! My husband is an extremely picky eater and he absolutely loved this place. He even entioned that it reminded him of his Grandma's home cooked meals that he often enjoyed as kid. Fresh and robust flavors with great prices! The bread was also top notch. A unique and calming atmosphere is a positive perk in itself. We will most definitely make this a *must stop* anytime we visit the Island.

Our first visit there yesterday. Very good food...the coffee cake was awesome..my friends had the omlette...they were very pleased...my hubby had the corned beef hash and couldn't believe how great it was.

Food is excellent ! Some recipes are very unique but delicious , all home made, with fresh locally grown ingredients. Coffee is the best, freshly made rolls and bread right there in the cafe.

Delicious breads, loved the toast menu and the smoked whitefish chowder was heavenly!
