Bidra med feedbackThe restaurant is part of an actual castle and is quite charming. The terrace on a lovely evening is fabulous. When the weather is not so great there is a glass front onto the terrace/lake.The food is quite good (Bodenseefelche) and the open wines are local and good. We expected tourist fare and were quite happily surprised. Service was ok but no great shakes.
The restaurant has a what sometimes is called a Winter Garden and in summertime you can sit outdoors. It is a very interesting old Castle actually founded by the Swiss Monks from St. Gallen to defend themselves from "the hordes of Hungarians", likely Attila of the Huns. The food is absolutely excellent and when in Wasserburg not to be missed.
I had pumpkin seed crusted schnitzel with apple celery soup and an apple fritter, it was really lecker!!!
We had dinner when we arrived and had a nice evening. Food was really good fish, meat with chanterelle. Service was fast and smooth with a nice local wine selection.
Very good feel at out side. Meal is normal, you can choose various local. Please ask kind staff recommendation.
