China One - Waterbury

I found myself ordering from China One again tonight. The 2 or 3 item combos are great. I usually stick with the basics: General Tso chicken, honey chicken, dumplings, wonton soup, etc. I also recommend the Singapore mei fun.

Cheap no frills Chinese American classics, combos are good for value and variety

Been ordering here for over 9 years the service has gone down horribly so has the quality of the food last time I ate there I got food poisoning but still gave it another chance because everyone has it’s bad days. The new employee the girl that answers the phone has a bad attitude always sounds bothered when taking my order messes up my order then rushes me off the phone when I’m trying to pay with a card then huffs in annoyance when I tell her I’m not done that I’m paying with my card. We’re currently looking for a new Chinese place because if we spend money with an establishment regularly we expect to not be spoken to like we are a bother

Ordered for delivery at 8:50pm tonight, they told me it would be 45 mins. An hour goes by and still no food or a call from the driver. Called the store back and they said the driver would be there in 20 minutes.10:04 hits and still no call from driver or any food delivered. Called back and they kept saying he will be there. It’s 11:22pm now and I still have not gotten my food nor a call back. First time ordering from here and the service is horrible. Seems to me the store doesn’t keep tabs on drivers. If I can give no stars I would. Never ordering from here again

Terrible. I will never order from here again. I woke up the next morning after eating and I had diarrhea and I was throwing up the entire morning never again do not order from here.
