The Old Penny - Waterford

So the Penny Bar is a awesome little corner bar and a good place to stop at when you pull off Wind Lake. We stopped in on a Friday Night and ordered the Fish Fry. Unfortunately they had technical difficulties and it took about an hour to get our food....the wait was quickly forgotten once we received our food. The fish fry was awesome for a bar and we left 100% full. . The only odd sight was from the elderly couple that used their smart phones timer to document their own wait time....Not sure if that means its habitually slow to get food out or that's just what elderly people do with their phones now adays!!

That was a good place to eat! My aunt told me about her fish rog! It was so good! Your cheese sticks are so delicious!!! The chicken pliers were very delicious and perfectly cooked! My children ate everything! The food was hot and fresh! The employees were amazing that they told us we were coming back for their wings on Monday! I am happy to know about this place! Great friendly people inside and just try to have a good time!

Always good food, fair prices, good service, beautiful view of the lake. Contains fresh tea for a non-alcoholic drink. Good beer selection. You have cauliflower crust pizza!

The tenders are very kind and considerate. Food is great. Especially, the cauliflower crust pizzas. My wife loves this place for out of the way food.

It was quite crowded when we visited, with only standing room available. I expected the service to be slow since there were just two bartenders, but I was pleasantly surprised! Those two women really knew how to handle the rush. The drinks were excellent, the staff and other patrons were friendly, and the atmosphere was pretty great. I will definitely come back here!
