Bidra med feedbackI discovered this restaurant while visiting town for work and was in the mood for a good local pizza place instead of a chain. The positive reviews convinced me to give it a try, and I’m so glad I did! The pizza was delicious; I had the mushroom and homemade sausage, which was fantastic. The service was friendly, quick, and attentive. The prices were very reasonable—my total was around $16, including a drink. They refer to these as "personal" pizzas, but they're actually quite large—about the size of a traditional medium, which could easily feed two people. Parking is mainly available on the street, but I found a spot without any trouble on a Saturday night. Highly recommended!
We have been dining here for many years, drawn by both the delicious food and the welcoming service. When the time came to host a retirement party, we felt confident that these qualities, along with the unique layout of two connected restaurants, would be perfect for our needs. We were thoroughly pleased with our experience. We rented one side of the restaurant and accommodated around 50 guests for two hours at a very reasonable rate. A few of us lingered after the initial two hours, and the transition to a relaxed after-party was seamless. We can't praise the friendly staff, inviting atmosphere, and fantastic food enough!
The kid wanted pizza, and this restaurant really came through. The crusts were fresh and cooked quickly. The street taco pizza with chorizo was amazing, offering a unique flavor that we devoured entirely. The pepperoni pizza was also great. Both pizzas arrived promptly and hot. The decor has a stylish and trendy vibe. Service was excellent and laid-back. We will definitely stop by again when we're in town. The total was $36 for two pizzas and a lemonade, plus tip. It was definitely worth the price.
The best in the county! You won’t get food this good, with all fresh ingredients anywhere around. Great food, great people, great atmosphere! Recently had the Detroit style as a weekend special. It was so good! Thick, chewy crust and crunchy, cheesy edges. Apparently it is going to be on the new menu rollout soon and I am stoked! If you’re not a fan of Neapolitan style pizza, check out their new Detroit style. So good!
Running some Friday night errands and stopped by to enjoy some pizza. Atmosphere, appetizers, service, and the pizza were all delicious. I love supporting small businesses and we will be returning to Basal soon. Great Eats!
