Loved our experience at El Patron! It’s rare that you find a restaurant with the tri fecta great food, authentic atmosphere, and incredible service. The gluten free options were AMAZING (especially the cheese dip. We live in a small surrounding town and will be coming over to Waterloo for El Patron instead of Waverly for our go to Mexican restaurant visit. Thank you very much!!

I 'm currently standing at the front door (where i have been for 10 minutes, NO exaggeration), waiting for SOMEONE to take my to-go order. The young lady at the front asked me to wait because someone else has to take my order since she doesnt know how .... I 've literally been standing here for 10 minutes just WAITING for SOMEONE that can take my order . More and more customers have been entering and being seated but i havent even had my order taken. I cant rate the food because i haven 't even tried it yet. Customer service is a NO go for me. They either need to train their people better or hire more staff. This is ridiculous!
