Watertown Country Club

I had a great round at Watertown Country Club. The course has a classic feel with some excellent greens that are both mounded and fast. It plays longer than its listed yardage, with only two par fours under 390 yards. The par threes are challenging, measuring 175, 172, 175, 201, and 160 yards. The course was in fantastic condition, and I noticed plans to expand the clubhouse. Overall, it's a mostly flat, tree-lined course that offers a pleasant golfing experience.

As a former employee, I have to say that I genuinely enjoyed my time at Watertown Country Club. I have many cherished memories from my work there. It could be tough at times, especially when it came to tasks like trimming the bunkers, the creek, or dealing with the trees. However, most of the time, it was an amazing experience. Mowing the lawns, interacting with the members, and taking in the beauty of the course were highlights of my job. I put a lot of effort into my four seasons of working there, both sweat and blood. One task I don't miss, though, is setting the pin positions! If you ever have the opportunity to play at Watertown Country Club, I highly recommend it—it's a fantastic course.

Incredible! The golf experience has always been top-notch, but the restaurant has reached a whole new level. The new chef started about a month ago, and after dining here four times, I can confidently say that nothing within a 30-mile radius comes close. Everything is made to order, including the fish, which is absolutely amazing. My latest dish was the chicken marsala, and I’ll just share a picture of the food because words can’t do it justice. If you plan to visit, make sure to make a reservation, as it has been very busy these past few weeks!

Great course, fast and pure greens. The food is amazing. One of the best ribeyes I?ve had in years. Scratch made soups are great as well. Very fun membership, easy to make friends.

My sister and I just ate the most delicious food here. She had the Baked Cod and I had the Lobster Ravioli, yum, yum. Then we got a dessert. I can't remember the name of it, but it was amazing. Chocolate mousse and dark chocolate with crushed meringue in the middle. It was so decadent. We shared, I don't think we would have finished one each. The staff is very attentive. Thank you for a really great meal.
