Codland Fish Chips - Watford

Brilliant fish and cod roe was perfect best I've had in ages. Chips lovely . Couldn't fault any of it .

Tried this chip shop out after a friend recommended it to me. It’s great. Really good sized portions and a knowledgeable owner. Told me about the new season potato’s they were using and gave us some new fish bites for free to try out as they were new on the menu. Will be using Codland regularly from now on

It is a great portion size. It is also great food as well. The staff are friendly and the place is always clean.

Where can I start. this must be one of the divine institutions I have ever visited. the chips were boiled for perfection and the regular kabeljau was mouthwatering good. prices are extremely appropriate compared to food quality. if they ever have a look for high quality fish and chips, then this is the place for them. workers are very polite and the kebab is also very tender.

Update , quite a few meals since this first review. Not had a bad meal ever from here. Fresh, tasty hot and always served with a smile. A frequent stop for us for a treat. Great fresh and hot food. A good choice of items from fish to kebabs, pies etc.. The staff are helpful and friendly and there is always a queue on a Friday night.
