Top Donuts - Watsonville

We always stop when we are near Watsonville, provided that this is perhaps once or twice a year, but we LOVE their cuddly filled bars. She was so kind and nice. 30 years in business. Feels good to support a local, long-term business. Great donuts, great people.

Best donuts in Watsonville. Always fresh and delicious. They usually run out by mid day so try and get there early. Also the lady in the front counter is always friendly and very nice.

I have been going to top donut for over 25 years and Mei and Keith are great. Now I bring my grandsons there. And Mei always greets everyone by name.

I 'm so glad to have Top so close, this is the donut I grew up with on the other side of the country! You can always test a donut shop by their plain old glazed... These will melt in your mouth. Not too sweet like so many do, and so light and airy, they are perfection. You have to grab a couple of those. Then get an apple fritter. Uhhh, dang! The thing is huge yet light. It 's the perfect fritter. There is soft, there is gooey, there is crunchy. Nice bits of apple too. These are a fave. I always want a chocolate bar, as they are called out here, and ask to have it filled with icing. There isn 't anything in their case I don 't like. I don 't know the owners personally, but they will treat you like they 've know you your whole life. We love you Top! It 's the choice when you need donuts for work, an event, or gathering. Call a few days ahead for those big orders. The cost is right too!

I encountered an issue during my visit, but the female owner handled it graciously, so I decided to overlook my initial concerns and accepted her apology. However, I would like to suggest that clear signs be posted for customers in the future. As a first-time visitor, I appreciated the excellent chocolate donut and the good service. Thank you!
