Avocado Express - Waukegan

This place may not look like much on the outside, but they know how to cook. Your Chilaquiles Verde is to die. The best I had in quite a time. You have delicious horchata too. These places are occasionally packed, but they do a great job that moves. It opens early and closes early, so if you pay attention. And if you expect a waiting period on the weekend. Great taste for great prices. But if they are packed, they do not really pay attention to your order when you make changes. I'll try again, more on their menu.

One of my favorite places in Waukegan! Been here quite a few times. And have tried their tortas, chilaquiles (THE BEST), and of course the Chipotle Chicken Panini, which I had for lunch today! The service is always fast, and their staff is always nice and friendly! Highly recommend it!

Oh, man, the chipotle chicken Pannini was on the spot. And I found a sweet potato-fruit place to go now. Although a small crispy for my taste, I am still happy. The restaurant wasn't exactly what I expected. It's more like breakfast and Mexican food. I'll go back and try something else, plus my pommes. The dining area is small and it was hot, but I would still dip there. (This was 4 years ago) Update to 18. December 2021 I can't believe I wasn't in this place for so long. Who, here is another review: Again, man! So yesterday I went here for the Pannini I like, but actually ordered the wrong sandwich, it was still good. I finally tried the crepes and I have to say that I personally don't like crepes as I thought. Still good, chocolate chip was probably better. But man, I ordered my baby's chocolate chip pancakes and he ripped them. I just had a bite and was like damn, we need to get back. Definitely my favorite breakfast spot here a run for her money. And we did this today. I checked the menu to see what this lady ate yesterday, it was popular Chilaquiles there. I added onions, avocado and asada. Had it with the red sauce and I was very impressed! We'll be back next week. Well worth every cent. At least 10-15 minutes, depending on how much you order.

I love going here I have been here on numerous occasions and every experience is a good one. You can taste the freshness of the food and they are very quick in making the food look and taste good. The only con in this establishment is that is closes a tad early. Other than that 5 stars all the way. (chilaquiles are by far the best) serve breakfast and lunch. outside seating and chill environment.

This restaurant offers fresh, quick service with friendly staff and delicious food. We tried the Waukegan, which included cecina, and the chilaquiles, both of which were packed with flavor. The total came to just $24, including coffee and a real Coke in a bottle—an excellent deal considering the quality and taste of the dishes!
