This place is a great restaurant for Mexican food. They have wonderful dishes and are reasonably priced. You order and pay at the register. If you stay in to dine, they will bring you chips and salsas. Very nice staff. One odd thing, there is no garbage can in the dining area, so we just leave our plates and such on the table.
Kudos to the cooks here. The burritos are AMAZING. The sauces could be better, maybe. Their red sauce is like leftover table salsa watery not much taste. The verde sauce on the other hand, has a good flavor to it. One things for sure: you wont find a better joint after midnight.
So the problem is that different cooks prepare the same order differently, much differently. I know there's a guy who made my burrito really well, nicely grilled dry steak, all veggies put together well, cut in half, eatable on a go. Now, the lady cook which made the whole restaurant smoky and stinky because someone didn't feel like prepping before service it's a different story. My burrito was not well put together, greasy, meat over salted, not even cut in half, so you couldn't eat it without having it all over the table. I see potential in this place as long cooks will prepare the same dish in a same way. Yes, salsas could be less watered down.
It’s quick and taste good! The taco lengua was delicious with a good texture, not too chewy or dry. The asada has good seasoning as well as alpastor. The only thing is their tacos are made with milagro tortilla so expect your taco to get soggy and fall through. The salsa was watery and no flavor at all. The burrito was 2/5. The flour tortilla got chewy and hard to bite off after a while.
