Bidra med feedbackI revisited and got the French onion soup. It's great. This time I got the fondue from the Appetizer menu. It was delicious and I got so full that I couldn't eat anything else. It has a great taste and couples perfect with the roasted bread,
I had only been here years ago for their brunch which was always delicious but this past week we went for dinner and the food, service, and, atmosphere was top notch. Will be back to try more menu items.
We stayed next door at the Holiday Inn a couple times and we have eaten here 2 times. I personally like the layout and the location as there are not too many bigger restaurants like Thunder Bay in the area. Now the food is honestly sometimes confusing. They have some dishes that are very good and others that are just bad it's weird how things vary so much. Being in the business consistency is key and I see that being one problem and another is their recipes are little off. For example their bruschetta had melted goat cheese on it and it killed the whole flavor of the dish. The salads were good and the chicken and shrimp were great. We will keep trying different dishes when we're in the area. It's a solid place that would be even better with some subtle changes.
We Had a wonderful time! Bruschetta was the best I've ever had. The salad bar was incredible and tony at the bar was good company. We will be back soon
Nothing spectacular and everything is around $25 or up besides the burgers and appetizers. The bison meatballs were horrible I couldn?t even eat them. My boyfriend got the chubby sirloin and he said it was dry but the flavor was great. I got the impossible burger and it wasn?t anything special. The French onion soup was good but not the best I?ve ever had. They give you complimentary bread with oil for dipping. It would have been nice if the oil had some herbs in it but it was just plain oil. Looking at the menu the salads were expensive and made with iceberg lettuce which isn?t expensive so not sure why the salads were so pricey. Also the burgers only come with cheese and a brioche bun and they are $15. They also portion your ketchup for your fries in a tiny cup which I though was weird. I?m sure I could have asked for more ketchup but didn?t bother. I think there are much better restaurants in the area for a fraction of the price.
