Bidra med feedbackDaughter Liz and I stopped for a late mid-afternoon lunch during Wausau's Snow Fest half a block away. No time to browse the galleries but we were warmly attended to by owner John Von Slate and his cordial mother, Shirley who makes the rich, homemade ice creams. (The blackberry and the rum cream are a must), and little raspberry or apricot pastries. We were given generous samples of their sumptuous Italian Meatball soup. I was particularly charmed by the cloth napkins, tablecloths, and eclectic decor of the Bistro. Ice creams and soups vary every week, so Facebook Friends please text and I will gladly meet you there. Exactly what I didn't know I wanted. Lovely, eclectic and friendly. What a treat! I'll be back!
Cute restaurant in downtown Wausau. You feel like you’re stepping into your grandma’s dining room. The food was good, warms your belly and your heart. Prices are so reasonable and portions are generous. The staff are friendly and fun. Save room for dessert! We’ll definitely be back soon!
I just started working in this neighborhood and went for lunch with a couple coworkers... LOVED my salad and thought it was adorable. Then today we were surprised when one of your employees walked over to my salon with treats for us! Love the kindness of the people who work here and love the food Highly recommend!!!
