Fantastic home cooked roast, piping hot and plenty of it

Only parked my car in the road opposite so can't really comment on anything but the location

This used to be a good pub. But one staff member is a raging alcoholic. Serving drinks when absolutely off his face, shouting at children and threatening people with violence. It's a shame because I liked going here but it was constant. The other staff are really nice though despite this I feel so sorry for them for having to put up with that!

We were lucky enough to win a Sunday lunch for 4 people in a raffle with William Cobbett primary school's Christmas fair, for which The Albion kindly donated such a kind prize. Service was great, and the starters roast portions were extremely generous, so much so we didn't have room to try any of the puddings this time. As we were without children we stayed 4 hours and made the most of a nice afternoon. Many thanks to the staff for being so welcoming. We're so pleased to find a great Sunday roast so nearby to us, so we will be back.

Lovely pub with friendly staff and pleasant environment. Manager was also checking in on people and very friendly. Love the pub themed bathrooms too!
