Fat Buddies Ribs Barbecue - Waynesville

My boyfriend and I dined at this restaurant and had a wonderful experience. We were seated right away. I ordered the fried chicken tenders platter, which came with potato salad, Kraft mac and cheese, and Texas Toast. I had initially wanted french fries, so my boyfriend ordered those and kindly shared them with me, while I gave him my potato salad in return. The food was delicious! I thought I would receive more tenders, but I ended up feeling satisfied. The Kraft mac and cheese was a classic; I chose it because I can never recreate the restaurant's version at home. The french fries were perfectly crispy. Our server, Taylor, was incredibly nice and checked on us at just the right moments. I really enjoyed my time here and would definitely love to come back!

I ordered the two meat combo plate, which included ribs, brisket, potato salad, and a veggie medley. For an appetizer, I chose the black-eyed pea stew. The only items I really enjoyed were the meat and the cup of stew. The service was excellent, and I plan to try something different on my next visit.

The food was delicious, and the staff was really friendly, as were the other customers. Our waitress was excellent, and we didn’t have to wait long at all. We’ll definitely be back! It was our first visit, and we can't wait to return. We tried the "Fat Buddies" for two, and it was great. Thank you!

First time getting their barbque and it was fantastic ? I got the pulled pork, brisket and a rack of ribs along with baked beans ? the only reason I did not give 5 stars was due to the ribs being a little dry. The pulled pork and their house made barbque sauce was really good. Some of the best I have had. Try this place out when you are hungry for some good barbque. The picture is of some redneck nachos that I made with left over pulled pork. Cook fries until crispy add cheese, pulled pork and bake again. Add your sauce when serving, so good?

Underrated. It was the day after my wedding and the original restaurant we wanted to go to was closed. Fat Buddies took us in and fed us the country cooking we didn?t know we were missing. The baked beans were the epitome of happiness, second only to my husband. We also had an art contest and our waitress was such a good host and judge for the pictures ?
