Paradise Delicatessens - Waynesville

Came here today sort of late, around 4:10pm. One man working the restaurant, he was friendly enough. We got a few dishes and they were tasty. We plan to come back eventually and try a few other dishes.

Good, simple German food. Their hours aren't very convenient but the food is fresh and the people very hospitable.

The Nuremberg bratwurst was excellent! It was a bit disappointing, though, that they didn't have any apple strudel available. The owner's son was really friendly.

The atmosphere is wonderful, but unfortunately, I experienced food poisoning after dining here yesterday. I ordered the breakfast farmers meal, and while I'm not sure which part of it was contaminated, it definitely left me feeling unwell afterwards.

I went out of my way to try this restaurant. The sign on the door indicated they were open from 9 AM to 5 PM, and I arrived at 4 PM. However, the doors were locked. I could see employees inside chatting and eating, but no one even came to the door to help.
