The Anchor Inn - Wealden

The food at this restaurant was fantastic, especially the fish pie which was the best I've ever tasted! The service was top-notch, with no strict rules or regulations such as no dogs allowed or requiring walkers to remove muddy boots, and they didn't stop serving at 2.30. The staff were wonderful and seemed to truly care about their customers.

The restaurant is very inviting and roomy, with different seating options to help reduce noise. The food is delicious, and we were happy that the kids' meals came out at the same time as the appetizers. The village is delightful, and its proximity to the 100 acre wood and Winnie the Pooh's shop is convenient. Overall, it was a fantastic Sunday excursion.
