1:57PM, July 17th 2024. Extremely rude employee. Tall, late thirties or early fourties. Didnt catch his name, I was too infuriated to even bother asking. Couldnt leave soon enough. Please dont bother with this place,

We just had an absolutely delicious meal at La Carreta in Weaverville. Our server, Jesus, was very attentive and our food was hot, delicious, fresh and abundant. We ordered the chicken fajitas, but asked that the chicken be on the side, as I am vegetarian. He not only accommodated, but asked if we wanted additional tortillas, which was appreciated and not usually offered at other places. We will be regulars here and thoroughly enjoyed it!

Worst service ever. The “waiter” was so rude. Took about 20 minutes for him to show up at our table and ask for our order. We begin eating our chips with salsa and they were stale and cold. I asked him to please bring us another basket and he actually replied “they’re gonna taste the same why do you need more? “. Seriously?? So I asked him “so you’re telling me all of your chips are stale?”. Finally brought them and just threw them down on the table and didn’t say anything. Never refilled our drinks. So he got a nice tip from me. Zero!.? Nothing. Horrible service. The food was only mediocre. I will never go back there. El Que Pasa is the best and the service is EXCELLENT. La Carretta is Quickly becoming the worst Mexican restaurant in the area. Their service has always been bad, but this is the worst ever. Just do not go here. Don’t even waste your time… very expensive for nothing. Also, the restroom was dirty and just yucky. Tiles peeling off the wall… just looks bad in the whole place..

We absolutely love this place we try to come atleast once per week. The staff are great and the food and margaritas are on point.
