Pilot Travel Center - Weed

So as always the place has everything you need from food and drink items to stuff for your cars or trucks. The lady working the counter today was so friendly and happy. It is always nice to see that when you walk into a place of business. They sell ice,have propane and the restrooms are very clean and well the views are nice as well of the mountains

Trucker Life! Stopped by to take my 30 minute break. This is a perfect location to take a break since I'm halfway to Sacramento coming from Portland. Restrooms a decent, there's food to grab and also Cinnabon and Subway. Driver's lounge is available,showers as well. All in all not a bad place to stop by.

I had a terrible experience at this gas station. The pump failed to automatically stop when my tank was full. I had stepped inside for a quick bathroom break and returned to find a $200 charge, with gas overflowing and spilling all over my car and the ground. The attendant blamed me for the incident and offered no assistance. They were rude, unpleasant, and condescending. Be cautious if you need to stop here—better yet, avoid it entirely!

Although this Pilot station is small, it has a good parking lot, and to my surprise, there were available spots even close to midnight. Linda was fantastic; I really appreciated her friendly personality. Lea in the Subway was wonderful too. I will definitely return if I'm in the area again!

I purchased chains because I was informed that they were necessary to drive over the pass. Fortunately, we ended up not needing them—thankfully, as the set I bought didn’t even come with the tool required to tighten them. When I passed through town again, I stopped by to return the $86 chains, but they told me that returns weren't allowed, even though I had the receipt and the items were unopened. This behavior struck me as very unprofessional and quite cheap. It feels like they are trying to take advantage of customers in stressful situations by selling overpriced chains and refusing returns when the items haven't been used. Any other business would typically allow returns in such circumstances, but not this one. It leaves a bad impression of a place that seems to be run by some greedy individuals.
