Clerk was extremely rude when I asked for the change back on my fuel purchase and manager of the store stood right there and allowed the cashier to be this way.
I stopped by for a drink after driving from Boise to New Meadows while searching for my son, who was in McCall for work. He was supposed to be returning home to Boise but hadn't made it back after hours, so we went looking for him. When we entered the store around 7:30 PM, the two young ladies working were incredibly helpful. One of them even reached out to her family members who work for the county to see if they had heard about any accidents or broken-down cars. They really didn’t have to go out of their way for me, but their kindness and willingness to help made a huge difference. Thank you so much! Management should be proud to have such caring, friendly, and dedicated employees. Just so you know, my son did make it home late and safe; his car broke down in an area with no cell service.
Employees are really nice there I go there three or four times a day
A military veteran enters the restaurant. He's quite elderly and doesn't have any teeth. He presents his military ID, but he's informed that he cannot purchase beer. The rule states that one must serve a minimum of four years to qualify for an honorable discharge, and since the youngest age to enlist is 17, basic math shows that 17 plus 4 equals 21. It's frustrating to witness this veteran, who has fought in wars and faced unimaginable challenges, being treated this way. It's disheartening when people struggle with simple arithmetic, especially in relation to someone who has served their country. Moments like these truly disappoint me.
