The Stags Head - Wellingborough

We walked in around 3:30 PM without a reservation and were promptly seated. The staff were incredibly friendly. We ordered a sharing platter that included roast beef, pork, and turkey. The roasted potatoes were absolutely amazing, as was the gravy. The vegetables, especially the cauliflower cheese, were delicious. I would definitely return!

We received a warm and friendly welcome at this charming pub and restaurant. The food was excellent, but the service could use some improvement. We ordered wine when our main courses arrived, but it only came after we had finished our meal, which was a bit disappointing. I also noticed someone going to the bar instead of using the waitstaff. It could benefit from more attentive drink servers, but I can't fault the food—it was truly delicious.

Great place to eat! The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff are fantastic. The locals are warm and friendly, making you feel right at home. The food is fresh, nothing processed or pre-packaged here. I will definitely be returning!

I visited for an early dinner on Saturday with a group of six. Although two of us were part of a party of four, we all found both the service and the food to be excellent. I will definitely be recommending this restaurant to friends and colleagues.
