Stache on Main - Wellington

Tried and failed at other establishments in town to have a late lunch. All were closed and prepping for the dinner crowd. Someone suggested the Stache, what a great place. We sat outside, service was quick, friendly and helpful. I had the best jerk chicken with a side of fabulous greens. My friend had a huge, fresh, tender tasty chicken roti. We also had some homemade hot sauce on the side. Was honest, fresh, tasty food! Will be back, thanks !

The gallery setting with incredible artwork welcomes you. The entertainment and fun atmosphere are exceptional. However, the food is mediocre. I would return for the entertainment but would recommend choosing another spot for dinner.

Visited here twice while staying in Wellington and had a great time. Met lots of interesting people and fun chatting with the band. Definitely a must see in PEC.

We had the jerk chicken and szechuan noodles. Both were smaller portions but perfect for us. The owner is lovely - please engage her to hear how the restaurant opened and the story behind the artwork. Would definitely recommend.
