Bidra med feedbackI ordered the Monsieur sandwich, and it was fantastic—unique and flavorful! The ham was of excellent quality. My colleagues opted for eggs with salmon, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The coffee was also quite delightful.
This is Brittany in Wellington. The restaurant stays true to its origins, offering a wide selection of galettes and other regional specialties, along with some Kiwi options. The value is fantastic; for instance, you should definitely try the casserole de pêcheur. The service is friendly and laid-back.
While visiting Wellington for work, I was wandering around Lambton, reminiscing about my law school days when I stumbled upon Cafe Breton. I wouldn’t say there was a strong allure that drew me to the cafe; it was more out of simple curiosity about a new place I hadn't noticed before. Upon entering, the cafe had a welcoming, homey atmosphere—warm and cheerful, which was a refreshing change from the usual corporate vibe. Being greeted with a warm smile certainly set a positive tone for my visit. I opted for a coffee and a caramelized peach slice with ice cream. I’m not entirely sure that was the exact name, but it was delicious—light and just right for an afternoon snack. The highlights were undoubtedly the fantastic service and great coffee. Overall, I would give it a B+.
I 've always enjoyed my visits to Café Breton! Both in its current, CBD location and in its original Kelburn.<br/ <br/ Although not 'Cheap And Cheerful ' the food is plentiful, and well made I 'm yet to order a dud! The Staff are always lovely, and the service is usually quick.<br/ <br/ A personal favourite!
Because of our lack of our Britanny and his specialities, we decided to go to the cafe Breton. It a little restaurant, friendly. It's always a pleasure to find French people at the other side of the world. Galettes were very delicious, I know what I'm talking about, I'm from Britanny. It's approximately the same taste. I recommend it. The staff was nice but too professional, not casual enough (not too Breton spirit).<br/
