Wenty Cafe - WENTWORTHVILLE

As always coffee and cake at wenty cafe was great. Staff were very good and attentive and friendly. I try to go for coffee at least twice a week and dinner or lunch with friends.

This is a great café with a diverse menu and the food is always good. The service is always friendly can sometimes be slow on busy nights but the staff always advise if the wait time is going to be long. Great for breakfast lunch or dinner with a relaxed atmosphere.

Great place to catch up with friends for a chat and good coffee & cake. The lunch menu is good with a choice to suit everyone

As a huge family gathering we decided to have a meal here. Enjoyed the meals. Very good atmosphere. Very busy place. Went with good company and had a great evening there so our day was memorable as we are from overseas.

Wenty Cafe is part of Wentworthville Leagues Club ,They pride them selves on severaldifferent food options.Wenty Cafe is a disappointment,firstly the seating and tables aregood ,however the seating is not exclusive to those who are eating , so you share the area with those who are drinking or playing the pokies , it can get crowded and is a no kids area.THE FOOD.is always well presented but seafood plate ,which was a selection offrozen seafood bites ,The fish tasted like MEKONG MUDFISH.The prawn dry withno taste, The squid and chips similar offering. The salad was a bunch of leaves with a squeeze packet of dressing.I have eaten at wenty cafe several times and I am always hopeful that they haveimproved , but it is always a disappointment .WHY do I return ? because Wenty Leagues is My Club, I first joined wenty over 30 years ago, Wenty Cafe opened in 2012, my advice stick to the coffee and cake andavoid the cooked food..Although not 5 star or even 3 star the Lawsons Bistro is a better option if you carefully select your dishes and select freshly cooked or the roast dinners which are not frozen offerings, However a bit expensive for a club bistro.Wentworthville Leagues is a good club but has too much hype about their foodwhich is not backed up in reality
