Hotshots Sports Grill - Wentzville

Not bad. Typical sports bar food. Asked several times for budweiser buckets and they kept bringing us budlight.

Had a great time at my 26th birthday bash. Music is great. Food was amazing. Staff was so aware and on top of everything! Grace and Ashley were great. I would recommend anyone here to a party!!!

The staff very graciously accommodated our party of 12 drunken pirates. In full pirate gear. With no advance notice. Food was delicious, and the drinks were never empty.

After placing our order, the kids spotted the darts and asked our server if they could play. She kindly agreed, and they played for about 10-15 minutes before our food arrived. The restaurant was relatively empty with only about a dozen patrons, and we were seated far away from anyone else—except for a group that appeared to be off-duty servers. Unfortunately, it seemed that our presence bothered this group enough that a male bartender or possibly the manager approached my husband and said, “Hey! No kids allowed after 8 PM!” just as our food was being delivered. After quickly checking to make sure our meal was correct, we requested to-go boxes since we could no longer enjoy our dinner in peace. Our server, who was very friendly and attentive, apologized profusely and seemed quite embarrassed by the situation. Despite this unfortunate incident, the service was excellent and the food was delicious. After boxing up our meal, we settled the bill for $130 and left almost immediately after being informed of the “no kids after 8 PM” policy. Now we are back at our hotel, eating our lukewarm food. I would suggest that HotShots consider placing a host or hostess near the entrance or have staff stationed there during later hours to inform families with children about their policy. This would help prevent the kind of embarrassing situation we experienced tonight.

Although the restaurant's atmosphere left much to be desired (the bathroom actually had a more pleasant odor), the salad I ordered was delicious, and our waitress was incredibly sweet. There are plenty of TVs to catch the hockey game, and various games available to keep you entertained if you're not into sports. Based on my one experience there, I would recommend giving it a try.
