Excellent food, excellent service and excellent value for money. what more could they after....a roaring log fire, friendly atmosphere and dog friendly...it got everything too! the fact that they have to book a table, says everything!

Very nice pub. good value for money, generous portions. good selection of real ale. it is a popular place, so it can be advisable to book.

This is the pub grub to its absolute best and to extremely good trips. friendly staff in a relaxed atmosphere, a real old world pub.

Had pre-booked table on sat eve. very friendly place felt very welcome. great menu choice and eating was great. if I had to find something to say, would be better choice for the gloomy, but after such fantastic and great dinner I had no place to pudding anyway. good value for money as well. will deffo be coming back soon

Good pub grub although came out a bit cold from the kitchen and the portions are gigantic.... far too big for all of us and one of us took home a goodie bag so as not to waste the food.
