Bidra med feedbackThis is one of our favorite take out restaurants in town. It's a wonderful family run business that makes their regulars feel like friends. My family has tried many menu items and have never found a bad dish. Our favorites include the fried pickles, shrimp catfish po boy, garlic noodles, and the spicy kielbasa. They have a small outdoor eating area and on warm nights sometimes have live music. Highly recommend!
Found this spot by accident and stopped for a quick snack. Boudin balls were the real deal. Loved chatting with the owner/chef. Can’t wait to stop back for a full meal. Totally authentic food.
Today was my first visit. I lived in Houston for about a decade with a born bred southern man, so my bar is high. I had great service and ate on the patio. I had the jambalaya fried okra. The food had most of the correct components. Unfortunately, there were paltry herbs in each dish. I'm not talking about spicy heat. That made a potentially wonderful jambalaya okra quite plain and a bit on the tasteless side. I will come back and try something different next time. I'll keep my fingers crossed.
First time here and WOAH. Great food, great service, and BIG flavor. Servings are generous. Cool outdoor area to dine, and they seem to do a significant takeout business. Nothing not to like about this place. Owners are both from Louisiana, and they definitely know what they’re doing. Will absolutely be back.Po Boys are on the BEST French bread. A must have. Gumbo is wicked tasty.
I stopped by this little gem for lunch. I had fried shrimp, Cajun fries, and coleslaw.A simple plate and it was delicious!!! Highly recommend and I'll be back for sure!!!
