Split Rail Tavern - West Chester

The restaurant closed unexpectedly on the night of our reservation, and to make matters worse, we later found out they had a history of health violations. Overall, not a good experience.

I made a reservation on OpenTable only to find out that the restaurant was closed. If the restaurant has been closed indefinitely for months, it should be taken off OpenTable.

Why are reservations being accepted when the restaurant is not open?

It was closed with a sign in the door “Closed Until Further Notice” and it pretended to be open

Made the reservation and when arrived, there was a sticker on the door stating the restaurant had been shut down for health violations.
