Starbucks - West Des Moines

Great place to get your SB coffee or pastries if you're tired of waiting in a long drive thru line at the other SB location in town. A little slow on service, but it's understandable because there's usually just one or two people working the location since it's internally within Target.

Please look over the recipe cards and make sure to not burn shots!! Had my drink remade twice and still wrong. They're using full pumps of syrup for the shaken brown sugar oatmilk espresso when its suppose to be half pumps. Makes the drink overpowering sweet. Second time the shots were burnt. Tasted like cigarette ashes.

Stopped in around 7pm on a Thursday. Spacious. Clean. There is a grocery portion of the store with hot and cold foods. Also a beer/wine/liquor section. I got everything I needed to snack on for a few days. I had a lovely interaction with the nicest cash register employee.

We showed up at 7:50 it closes at 8. and she said there isn’t enough time to make are coffees she said it very rudely

As I waited for my order, this girl looked at her friend and loudly remarked, "There's no reason for someone to be picking up an order at this late hour. It's 7 PM on a Friday night, and they’re open until 9. Does that even matter?" The two employees didn’t say anything to her or to me. Feeling uncomfortable, I picked up my bag and left abruptly. I was really looking forward to my visit and had wanted to buy some additional items, but after this experience, I have no desire to come back.
