Wasabi Waukee - West Des Moines

I’ve been to every one of the Wasabi restaurants now with this visit. I sat at the bar which was incredibly clean and well kept. The bartenders were fabulous not to mention the absolutely delicious food. I had the sashimi and sushi for 1, some steamed edamame, and an amazing pomegranate martini. We tried this place for the first time (take out). We order teriyaki chicken and teriyaki shrimp. I literally had 8 small pieces of shrimp 3 pieces of undercooked broccoli and 1 slice of hard carrot. Paid a total of $41 and was still hungry. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 1

I had the Kamichi rice to go, which was so good, with an egg upstairs to eat. Very good! Also have their sushi before in the past and must say it is delicious. Very expensive, but good. Definitely a place for fine food to go. I wish I ordered two kamichi roasted rice to go, I tore a little more after it filled me. I didn't put rice on my head now and tried to restore the same delicious taste. Defend a place to go.

Usually pretty good, but the last time I ordered takeout, I got an unagi avocado roll, and it would have been nice to have some eel with my avocado. At least the avocado was perfectly ripe, but bummed because eel is one of my favorites.
