The prettiest pub, food great value for money, Chloe is very responsive for bookings and reservations. Great to have the choice of internal and outside. Loving the winter fire.

Great food, great atmosphere. Very impressed with the separate gluten free menu. Nice to see a restaurant/pub taking coeliac disease and allergy’s seriously. Well done Royal Oak.

Ate here two nights and other than the company it was amazing. I was here with my wife and she is a fussy eater and even she was impressed which is a rare thing these days. Absolutely loved the food and would highly recommend.

Just average. Starter to share no plates just a bowl of food. Main course fish chips, burnt onions pieces on the fish clearly from the fryer. If you are in Charmouth on a weekday in November there isn’t much choice so very limited options. I’m sure with some more attention to detail the Royal Oak could be good.
