Bidra med feedbackDo not recommend. I specifically asked which items were vegan but they got the order wrong! I have called and messaged but they haven’t replied.
Had the vegan sausage roll and vegan mushroom pie. Both tasted good, with soft pastry and flavoursome fillings. The sausage roll was very peppery, which was nice but not for everyone. Still, it’s awesome to be able to have a bakery pie and sausage roll! The majority of their vegan options aren’t clearly marked vegan. Will be coming back to try their croissants.
I had been hearing about the almond and pistachio croissant and couldn't wait to try it. It seemed like it might have been reheated, but it was still delicious with my morning coffee. Some of the staff didn't seem to know much about the vegan options available, as I was told they were sold out one day but then found out they were actually stocked in a different cabinet. Some items were clearly marked as vegan, but others were not. I stopped by the Brisbane location and saved the mushroom pie for my flight, which turned out to be a mistake as it had cooled and the texture was off. However, the sweet tarts were a hit, with the lemon curd being tasty but a bit too firm. The apple and almond tart had a delicious biscuit base and chewy dried apples on top. My partner enjoyed the chocolate and mandarin tea, although he found the citrus filling to be a bit too tart. I would recommend trying the croissants and almond-based tarts and look forward to exploring more of their sweet and savory options in the future.
The restaurant has a welcoming staff, outdoor seating available, and offers a nice selection of baked goods, including vegan options.
The jam inside the jam doughnut is a thick, homemade jam that is extremely flavorful. Customers should be aware that it is very rich in jam flavor.
