Dixie Cream Donut Shop - West Frankfort

Went to Dixie Cream at 8:30 this morning and got two donuts and a blueberry fritter. All three tasted as if they were a day old. Even my 4 year old granddaughter wouldn’t eat the donut. So sad you can’t get fresh donuts anymore.

The donuts were decent, but the customer service was very disappointing. The woman who assisted us was quite rude.

This is my mom's favorite spot; she adores the donuts here. Whenever I'm in the area, I always make sure to pick some up for her. The sandwiches are quite tasty, but nothing compares to the donuts. The staff is incredibly friendly, and I truly believe there are no better donuts in all of Illinois.

I probably would of given it 3 and half stars if possible. Only because I waited in the drive thru for almost 15 minutes. I ordered a footlong sandwich and a dozen donuts. So it seemed a little excessive to be waiting that long. Other than that, no complaints. They do make a good sandwich. I'd choose here over Subway if I was going for a coldcut/toasted sandwich

Donuts and fritters are great, A+ 5 stars.Customer service is not!I've been a couple Friday mid morning around 10 there and there's one employee that seems irritated to have to be there and be bothered with customers. At both times there wasn't anyone else there but she was in a hurry to the point of being rude. She might not be a people person and needs to stay in the back away from socialization.As I said, the donuts are fantastic and there's a big variety so it might take more than 5 seconds to figure out what you want. Being rushed like that only makes me more ready to leave with just a couple donuts instead of a dozen.
