Bidra med feedbackI had high expectations for Lucques, considering its universal acclaim. I decided to try their prix fixe Sunday dinner, but I regretted it as we were unable to order from the regular menu. Our only options were salmon or a lamb burger. The lamb burger was tasty and not gamey, and the salmon was well-prepared, but neither dish particularly impressed me and they weren't worth the $40 we paid. Additionally, our table was awkwardly placed between the atrium and the main dining room, leading to our chairs constantly hitting the glass patio doors. I assume it was just an off night, but I have plenty of other restaurants to try before considering a return to Lucques. I would give it 3.5 stars, but I am rounding up due to its reputation.
The Rabbit Sausage Pasta and Beef Cheeks at this restaurant are outstanding. The ambiance is cozy and inviting. However, the desserts didn't quite live up to the excellent dinner.
I literally ate my meal in 5 minutes because it was so good! An expensive place, but DANG it’s GOOD!
Great food. We went there for one of their Sunday Suppers. The food was excellent, the cocktails were good, and the service was fabulous as well. The restaurant is quite cramped. I think they should consider removing a couple of tables – it would definately improve the atmosphere. Having said that, I would definately eat there again.
The food was excellent, however, I was disappointed by the limited selection of lower-priced wines. It should be easy to offer high-quality, expensive wines. Additionally, the tables were uncomfortably close together.
