Pho 9 - West Jordan

This place did not disappoint! The pho was absolutely delicious! The service was quick and attentive, and the woman who assisted us was very sweet. I also enjoyed the Thai tea; I highly recommend pairing it with your meal. I’ll definitely be back!

I had the vermicelli bowl with pork and an extra egg roll, and I really enjoyed it. There was more than enough food to satisfy me, and the pork had the perfect balance of flavor, fat, and meat. The fish sauce is on the lighter side, so it doesn’t overpower the taste of the meat. The egg rolls came out hot and fresh, and I think they’re made to order rather than being frozen. I’m definitely coming back to try their pho, especially since they don’t use MSG! I also sampled their banh mi (Vietnamese hoagie sandwiches), but I was a bit disappointed with the options. They’re more Americanized, lacking pate and cold cuts, and instead have salad in the sandwich. However, menu items can always change, so I’m hopeful for more authentic options in the future!

It's a hard spot. You have a California broth. It has a good taste and is not shy on spices, but is a little more oily. It is not superfluous oily or heavy and can be mixed with some extra lime. I like that they have a lot of green in the broth. The meat is of better than average quality and they do not link you. Noodles were well cooked and the other ingredients were fresh. Overall, I was glad to find this place.

This place was good! The broth was very flavorful, a little too heavy on the clove for my taste but that's a personal preference. The vermicelli was really yummy, better than some other places I've tried. My only complaint was the portion sizes the prices were the same as other local pho restaurants but the portions were all smaller than usual, including the egg rolls. Overall, I was satisfied but I'd probably try another place before going back.
