East Chinatown - West Modesto

This is the first time we tried this place. We really enjoyed the entire meal. This will be our go to Chinese restaurant from now on!!

I rated this restaurant previously 8 years ago on another site and it was great! No more! The restaurant was dirty. Every table had dirty dishes on them. I ordered house egg foo young and instead of being Patties it was chopped up in pieces and the shrimp and meat was mixed into gravy on the side instead of being in the patty. I choose this as a low carb option but it was not since all the shrimp and meat was soaked in the gravy and the patty was not a patty but a chopped up greasy mess. I called the restaurant and they said that’s how it comes…

I really enjoyed our meal here. The Sweet and sour pork/ lemon chicken were excellent, not overly sweet.

We had it delivered. Hadn't eaten there before. My son ordered wonton soup today, because the place we order from usually was closed today. Wonton soup is the best when you are feeling under the weather. It's a cure-all. Well, it arrived piping hot and was absolutely delicious. So much flavor! This will probably be our new spot, can't wait to try some other dishes. A

The food is very good and they are very friendly. The dishes are very well prepared, a very good portion of food, the flavor is delicious.
