Frankie Benny's Grays Lakeside

I typically enjoy Frankie and Benny's and have dined there frequently, but my recent experience was not the best. Initially, the website indicated that the restaurant was fully booked, but we were able to secure a table through OpenTable. When we arrived, the restaurant was only 70% full. However, my main issue was with the Clazon pizza I ordered, as it was not cooked properly. The cheese, which was the main component of the filling, was not melted and appeared to still be in solid form. I was not even asked how my food was, which is unusual for this restaurant, as they typically check in frequently. Despite the pizza being undercooked, I was able to eat it as the cheese and meats were still edible when cold.

Upon arriving at the restaurant, we were informed that there was no reservation under my name. After finally being seated, we found ourselves cramped at a table that was not appropriate for our group size. The service, considering the crowd, was efficient but we struggled to hear each other over the noise. The food did not meet my expectations in terms of taste and was not as hot as I had hoped.

We made a reservation for 4:30 PM using this app. When we arrived at 4:20 PM, we were told that our table was not ready and it would be a 20-minute wait. We didn't mind waiting. However, after 45 minutes and spending £40 on soft drinks, we still didn't have a table. It turned out that our reservation was overlooked and we would have to wait even longer, despite seeing other parties being seated at their tables. In the end, we decided to go elsewhere and had Chinese food instead.

We have booked our table for this app. we arrived and said that our table was not ready yet and it would be minutes. no problem!. and in softdrinks later and we had no table yet. it turns out that the booking was overlooked and we need to wait even longer, although other parties are shown on their tables. So instead we had Chinese.

When we came to the restaurant, we were told that there was no reservation under my name, and when we finally got a table, we were squeezed into a table that was not suitable as many of us were there. the service was great for how many people were there, but could hardly hear the person next to us as it was so loud. eating was not great for the price I expected that eating was much hotter than what it was when it came out.
