Trader's - Sheraton Hotel Toronto

Had booked 2 rooms $500 for July 2/3 with Expedia. Had prepaid confirmation in June. Arrived and no record of reservation or confirmation. Overbooked, sorry, and 3rd party agent is my problem. A 7hr wait and $50 credit was best offer. Amount was an insult. Despite several letters to Customer Care...nothing. Suggest picking elsewhere. Huge disappointment with a reputable hotel. Expedia is 3rd class? What does confirmation, mean? You may or may not have what you thought you had....airline syndrome.

It's been there for years. It's clean. Pretty clam and quiet. Crowd always look like brokers and lawyers busy looking busy or busy looking bored. Drinks are well made. Service is pretty good. You can get some food,but it's bar food. It's nice for the occasional drink.

I made a reservation at a restaurant for my parents to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. N. Wada from the restaurant went above and beyond, upgrading the room and sending wine and snacks for my parents. My daughter even enjoyed the pool area. Thanks to N. Wada, my parents' anniversary was unforgettable. The Sheraton will be our go-to hotel for family and friends when visiting Toronto.

Having breakfast at the hotel can be a challenge. The kitchen is often distant, causing the food to be cold, and getting a refill on coffee can be a rare occurrence. In this situation, I wasn't surprised. The food was average, but decent, the service was ordinary, and the prices were high. I hope hotels realize that business travelers with a daily allowance cannot afford overpriced breakfast items like bacon and eggs.

I dined at this restaurant multiple times during a recent trip. The breakfast was the standout (they offer a decent buffet), but all the meals were satisfactory. The bar and restaurant are connected, and the menu is fairly simple, featuring items like burgers and fries. However, the portions are generous and the food is well-cooked. The service was good and friendly. While not gourmet, it surpasses many hotel restaurants I have eaten at.
