It's a nice find in a small town. Menu has good variety. The hamburger steak was large and good. Others had ribs and burgers. Everyone was satisfied. Salad bar was fresh and offered many options. Nestled in West Union is a bar called Sidewalks. I've maybe come across a handful of these kinds of places in my life, places that I can guarantee I will return to... The establishment is comfortable, clean, well kept. The real five star experience came from the welcoming kindness from the other patrons of the bar(even the liquor rep that stopped by when I was there was super friendly) and more specifically, the bartender(shouts out to Lisa) working the day I rolled through. My unexpected visit to Sidewalks and my conversation with Lisa was a pleasant reminder that the heart of Midwest small town hospitality is still beating; moreso, it's THRIVING at Sidewalks. Thanks again for the ice L, and I'll look forward to rolling through again soon.
