Kromrivier Cederberg Park

The atmosphere is somewhat flashy and commercial, situated in a natural setting, but the smell of fried food fills the air. It was frustrating to find out that the menu prices were incorrect, a surprise that only becomes apparent when the bill arrives!

Absolutely fantastic! The attention to detail, friendly staff, and serene atmosphere made for a blissful experience that offered great value for money. It truly had everything we could have wanted. We had the best weekend at Kromrivier and can’t recommend it highly enough. Thank you all for creating a home away from home that was even better than we expected!

We have been coming to this place for over 30 years, both in the summer and winter. During that time, we've seen the transformation of the resort from a historic farm campsite with rustic mountain huts and a simple farm shop offering basic necessities and delicious homemade corn bread, to a high-end, eco-friendly mountain resort. Now, it features luxurious mountain lodges and an upscale restaurant, complete with a river flowing right through it. The shop serves exceptional cuisine made from local ingredients, house-made wine, and even craft ales brewed on-site. To describe this 5-star experience…

Awesome oasis in the Cederberg! Friendly people, good food. Tame birds which poach your food if you aren't careful! Be warned!
