Yan - Westhill

I enjoyed a visit to this Chinese restaurant that also serves Thai cuisine. The quality of the food was excellent, and the staff were both pleasant and attentive. However, I have to deduct a star due to the absence of a tipping system for card payments. It seems that the floor staff do not receive tips when paid by card. It felt like there was a bit of a family atmosphere, which I appreciated. While I never felt any inappropriate pressure, it was noticeable. Overall, it was a great experience, but this issue with tipping needs to be addressed.

Staying at the hotel in Westhill was an excellent suggestion from my taxi driver. The last time we visited, we tried the set menu B, which was fantastic, so I decided to return tonight. I had the chicken curry with the house special fried rice, and it was absolutely delicious. The portion sizes were generous, and the prices were very reasonable. The atmosphere was calm and clean, with friendly staff who were attentive without being intrusive. It was a quiet weeknight, and there was plenty of space between tables. I will definitely come back again, especially if you’re looking for a great meal without having to go far. It's well worth it!

The service was excellent, with the staff being communicative and helpful. The food was delicious and served in generous portions. The restaurant was quite large and bustling, accommodating several families of all ages as well as other groups like ours. The atmosphere was lively and cheerful, which I would describe as very positive.

A spontaneous visit left us wanting to return. A warm welcome and friendly staff. A clean contemporary setting with really great food. The food came out quickly and was exceptionally tasty. Also, and this matters, the washroom facilities were very clean! We highly recommend this restaurant.
