Bidra med feedbackThe music was blaring, and I was startled awake for a few minutes when the switch was flipped. There was no service, and I simply couldn't handle the overly loud music. We decided to leave. I was really hoping to try out a new place. The owners should visit Arcos down the street to see how to run a successful business.
The food was decent and sent out in a reasonable time. But the service was lackluster even though the place wasn’t busy. There was an odd tension you could feel during the entire visit that was uncomfortable. The server also pre charged the max percentage tip on our receipt then gave us the 2nd receipt to add even more tip, very shady. Wouldn’t return.
Their billing practices are questionable. The menu states that an automatic gratuity is applied for parties larger than 8, but we were just a party of two. They added a 25% tip without informing us, and then presented a receipt for us to sign that didn’t mention the tip had already been included. As a result, we ended up tipping twice.
This is an amazing restaurant. This is by far the best food I’ve eaten in Denver. The wait staff is super friendly. Our food was prepared quickly. While we waited we had margaritas and salsa. The food and drinks are very reasonably priced. The night we ate here, there was two live bands. The restaurant features a stage and a dance floor, good music and lots of tvs.
So every time I drive by this restaurant it’s always dead. Well now I know why. The food had no flavor, the chips are store bought, the salsa tasted like tomato paste. My husband ordered a Paloma and it tasted more like soda then anything. Everything is over priced including the kids menu. My daughters quesadilla with rice and beans was 8 dollars. I was not happy with the service the waitress kept forgetting stuff then it took her forever to come back with what she forgot. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Save your 100 dollars and go somewhere nice
